We are sad to escort Vangelis to his last abode at the Zografoy cemetery, the sermon will be held at 17:00.
We'll miss his activist knowledge, his analytical mind & organizational skills, his internet support to
our lgbt community.
Vangelis was a dodecatheist and a strong supporter of the old Hellenic religion and of people's right
to freely chose their religion against the local practice of baptising infants "cristian" before they got a chance
to speak and burrying them as christians against their of free will.

Saturday, June 24th. 2006, Athens, Greece. Some people organise the Athens pride, excduling others .. It's just about the money the control and the honours ofcource,
and most friendly people with participate at the proud march, sceduled to start at 18:30, Klaythmonos central sqr., like last year.
But the Pride belongs to all of us, it is bad for our pride and worse for our politics to have a small party of people take control
and seek all the credit. If we don't go to the pride march.. there will be no march after all. Right.
Organised by OLKE organisation, after they managed to exclude every other interested person
and group (that is everyone not willing to become their member and folow their orders and their strict secrecy rules).
Feels like we need strong organisations, but at the cost of what ethics ?
People will attend, because they need it. Just watch your purse.. It's OK to donate money
to OLKE org, and other orgs you like, as long as you're aware you're sponsoring this particular group and not the whole community.
Insist on a receipt, it is your right.

Every year there's some murders of trans people officially declared as hate crimes, and a host of attacks, batterings and dead people,
trans people and crossdressers that didn't make it to the media.
The international community honours the memory of our trans dead today with vigils in a lot of civilized cities and
a number of web sites black out on that day in mourning.
